Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of mymomo (as listed on the App Store and Google Play) ("mymomo", "we", "us"), covering your use of the mymomo app and the mymomo.love website. By creating an account or using mymomo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, don't use mymomo.

Who can use mymomo

mymomo is for people aged 13 or older, using it privately with one person they choose. If you are under 13, you may not use mymomo. Some regions may be unavailable.

Your account

You sign in with Apple on iPhone or with Google on Android. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and your device secure, and for everything done through your account. One account is for one person; don't share it or impersonate anyone.

End-to-end encryption and your content

Everything you send your partner — messages, photos, voice notes, stickers, game moves and the rest — is end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read it, and we do not and cannot pre-screen or moderate the content of your conversation (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what our servers can and cannot see). Because of that, you are solely responsible for the content you send and for your conduct. You keep the rights to your own content; you grant us only the limited technical permission needed to relay and deliver your encrypted data to your partner.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

mymomo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. You must not use mymomo to create, send, or solicit:

• any sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualizes a child — we report this to the authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where required, and terminate the account immediately;
• harassment, threats, bullying, stalking, hate speech, or incitement of violence or self-harm;
• content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's privacy, safety, or intellectual-property rights;
• impersonation, fraud, spam, or sending someone content they have asked you to stop sending;
• attempts to break, probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the encryption, the service, or another person's account.

Reporting, blocking, and our response

You can block your partner and report objectionable content or abusive behavior at any time — from the pairing screen (before you pair) or in Settings. Because mymomo is end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read content, a report carries the reason you choose and any note you write.

We review every report and act within 24 hours: we remove offending users' access to the service, and for serious or repeated violations we terminate the account, cooperating with law enforcement where the law requires. Blocking a person also unpairs them and prevents them from pairing with you again.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account (see how, and exactly what we remove). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where we must to comply with the law or protect people.

The service is provided "as is"

mymomo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that messages are always delivered instantly, that the service is uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will always be available in your region or on your device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of mymomo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of mymomo. Because mymomo is free to use, our total liability for any claim is limited to US$100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we'll let you know in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use mymomo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
