Delete your mymomo account

How to delete your account, and exactly what we remove.

mymomo (the app by mymomo) lets you delete your account and the data tied to it at any time. There are two ways.

In the app — the complete way

Open mymomo and go to Settings → Delete account. This immediately removes your account and everything our servers hold about you: your account identifier, your public key, your push-notification token, the nicknames, timezone, city, working hours and notification settings you set, any optional profile answers, any usage counts, and any messages or media not yet delivered. It signs you out everywhere. If you signed in with Apple, it revokes mymomo's access to your Apple ID; if you signed in with Google, it removes mymomo's access to your Google account (you can check this in your Google Account → Security → third-party connections).

Your conversation history lives only on your phone. Deleting the app — or clearing its data on your device — removes it there; we never hold a copy. If mymomo backed up your chats to iCloud, delete that backup too: iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → mymomo. Because your account is tied to your Apple or Google sign-in, you can do this from any device you can sign into with the same account.

What we keep, and for how long

Only the reports you have filed, which are safety records, kept for 12 months; the blocks you made are deleted with your account. If someone else blocked or reported you, their record keeps your sign-in identifier so it can keep protecting them — a block for as long as their account exists, a report for 12 months. These records hold the reason chosen and any note written, never message content, which we cannot read. Everything else is deleted at once. Day-by-day totals across all couples, in which no person appears, are not personal data and are not affected. The full list of what our servers can and cannot see is in our Privacy Policy.

If you can't open the app

Email manas@mymomo.love and we will help you delete your account. mymomo accounts are pseudonymous — we don't store your name or email address — so to make sure we delete the right account we may ask you to sign in on another device to finish the deletion, or to confirm details only you would know.

Ending a pairing

If you only want to disconnect from your partner, either of you can unpair in Settings at any time; everything our servers hold for the pair is deleted at once, and each phone keeps only what you yourself sent. Unpairing does not delete your account — use Delete account for that.
